These are realistic FPS ranges for Roblox running at default settings in a medium-loaded server (Brookhaven or similar). They are not marketing numbers. Your actual FPS will vary by game, server size, and how many players are on screen. Use these as a baseline, not a guarantee.
Roblox caps frame rate at 60 FPS by default. To run above 60, go to Settings > Frame Rate Cap and set it to your monitor's refresh rate (144, 165, 240, etc.). The numbers below reflect uncapped FPS where relevant.
Integrated graphics — Struggling tier
These GPUs share system RAM with the CPU and have no dedicated video memory. They can run Roblox, but only with reduced settings. The dedicated GPU fix does not apply here — these are machines with only integrated graphics.
On integrated graphics, the most impactful fixes are the power plan (High Performance) and reducing in-game graphics quality. See Check My Setup for the full ordered checklist.
Budget dedicated GPU — Decent tier
These cards can run Roblox reasonably well but will still benefit from optimization. Most are found in laptops purchased between 2015 and 2020. If your laptop has one of these and you are getting integrated-tier FPS, you are almost certainly running Roblox on the wrong GPU — fix that first.
Mid-range and higher — Capable tier
These cards handle Roblox's 60 FPS cap easily. Optimization for this tier is about removing the cap and reducing input latency rather than chasing raw FPS.
About the 60 FPS cap
Roblox limits frame rate to 60 FPS by default. If your GPU is capable but you are stuck at exactly 60, this is why. To remove the cap: press Esc in any Roblox game, go to Settings, find Frame Rate Cap, and set it to your monitor's refresh rate.
Common monitor refresh rates: 60 Hz (most budget monitors), 75 Hz, 144 Hz (most gaming monitors), 165 Hz, 240 Hz. Check your monitor's specifications if you are not sure. Running Roblox above your monitor's refresh rate provides no visual benefit and generates excess heat.
Why these numbers vary
Roblox FPS depends heavily on the game and server. A game like Tower of Hell with simple geometry runs faster than Brookhaven with dozens of character accessories loading simultaneously. These ranges are based on a medium-complexity game with a normal server load. Your FPS in Pet Simulator 99 will be lower than these numbers; your FPS in Tower of Hell will often be higher.
The optimization steps on this site can improve your numbers by 20 to 100 percent depending on your hardware. The biggest gains come from the power plan and the dedicated GPU switch.
